Supporting the Dying and Bereaved.
This course has been run over 10 weeks as an evening
class of 2.5 hours a week. Other formats are possible. This
course was devised for St Helena Hospice Colchester and put
on there a number of times. Originally designed for Hospice
staff this course attracted carers for the elderly, Insurance
Agents, Police, Pastors and General Practitioners.
This course focuses on perhaps the most difficult
situation that a carer can encounter. There is an experiential
content that encourages us to look at our own bereavement
issues in order that we will be better equipped to help others.
